I started longboarding as a way to cover my first and last mile on public transportation, picking up a 2021 model Arbor Dropcruiser. I did not particularly like the photo designs on the back, and decided to paint over it without losing some of the beautiful exposed wood on the deck. Sanding was not an option due to the thinness of the hardwood veneer, and I adapted my design to cover the entire painted region with a few tentacles among the exposed wood.
